Nano Brows or Nanoblading utilizes a super fine single needle cartridge attached to a high performance digital PMU tattoo device. This allows us to create intricate detailed designs that mimic the size and shape of real eyebrow hairs. Nano Brows is renown for its ability to crisscross hair strokes to achieve a dimensional layered appearance of the natural movement of real hairs, which is a limitation of the microblading method.

pre and post care

PRE CARE

No excessive alcohol consumption 24 hours before your procedure.

Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to procedure.

Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 24 hours before procedure.

No brow waxing, tinting, microdermabrasion or chemical peels one week before.

Discontinue Retin-A one week prior to your procedure.

No Botox around the brow area 2 weeks prior.

Do not drink coffee or any caffeine on the day of your appointment.

Please Note: You will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

POST CARE

Cleans the brow area with the given cleanser 2-3 hours after the procedure. Continue to use the cleanser am and pm for 7-10 days.

Gently massage the skin with the cleanser, rinse with water and pat dry with a clean tissue.

Use the given ointment when they feel dry and flaky this happens usually around day 2-3.

Pea size about of ointment will be enough for both brows.

No make-up application on the brows until the scabbing peels off completely.

No sun tanning, swimming or excessing sweating.

No soap, moisturizer, makeup, creams or sunscreen on the brow area.

Do not rub or pick at the dry flaky skin/scab.

What you will notice in the next 7-10 days:

Swelling and redness is normal for the first few days. To relieve the swelling, you can ice the area with soft gel ice packs.

Slight stinging sensation in the first few days is also normal.

The brows will start to form scabs and they might look dark and thick. As the skin heals, the scabs will fall off in random pieces throughout the brow and might look patchy throughout the week.

Flaking and crusting of the skin may occur.

The colour will fade approximately 30% – 50% when the scabs fall off. This is completely normal. Do not feel discouraged if the fading is more than you expected. The colour will become darker 1-2 weeks after ALL the scabs fall off.

A follow-up touch-up is usually necessary and can be completed any time after 5 weeks from the initial appointment.

Designing the brows

Each session begins with a comprehensive facial analysis to determine each client’s bone structure, prominent features and proportions.  I prep the skin and perform a detailed brow mapping and design to pre-draw the perfect outline. I use a wax pencil to pre-draw every hair stroke styled specifically to properly frame and accentuate your eyes while developing definition and symmetry.  Once the design is approved by the client, a topical anesthetic cream will numb the skin to keep the client as comfortable as possible. Most clients just feel pressure and vibration from the machine.
